Beech’s Pocket Plan

How do you get to someone at a company?

Maybe you need to interview for a Job.

Maybe you need to make a sale.

I am blown away that we don’t realize that the 150 people we know – know another 150 people.
Some of our people probably have contacts at the companies we want to meet. Some of them know the CEO or CFO or whoever.

We just don’t ask them who they know!

Use this pocket plan to think about who you know. Then ask them if they know someone you want to meet. If they don’t they may know someone in a like-kind business. Maybe you need to know someone at Coke and they say I don’t know someone at Coke but I know someone at Budweiser.

This pocket plan is also a way to make sure you know who your referral sources are. The people you need to tell others about. The more referrals you give out the more you get back.

Make sure you have your favorite people listed in your phone by the way others will ask you about them. Don’t put them as working just at Smith and Smith. Also, put on that same line CPA or accountant. Think of how people will ask you for a referral and make sure you use those same words in the same line as the name of the company.

If you have any questions are would like a copy of the Pocket Plan then just email me or call.
