How To Show Your Value
It is important that others understand your value proposition. It is why they hire you. If you have value it makes you different.
When crafting your value proposition -look at it as if you are the customer. Seriously- try that. So for me, I thought back to the three most recent CEO’s who hired me to speak and went thru in my mind and noted what they said when they originally called. The value proposition is one you want to tell as much as you can to everybody who potentially can do business with you.
I have been thinking through my value proposition and this is how I thought about it and how I answered the questions. At the end you can see my video with all together. Getting it right is not easy and I hope the more I work on it the better it becomes but I seriously took about 20 videos to just get this point. Try it with you phone and record yourself until you get it down.
What is the customers pain. What do they want to know? During this meeting I want to get my message across to the troops but I want them to be entertained.
I need a dynamic speaker who will bring up beat fun speech but I need them to help me with my message I’m trying to get across. Oh and doesn’t cost a lot.
Here is how I can solve your pain. – How do I know you want be terrible and make me look bad?
I think it is important as a speaker to focus on the points you want to get across. I can send you some video and I can put you in touch with several CEO’s who can give you first hand experience and help you decide if I’m the right guy for your crowd.
How are things different after you have done business with me.- I want my audience to believe in the message I am trying to convey and I want them to go back and start working on that.
My purpose in life is to help people get from where they are to where they want to go. I think I can help you do that with your message. The things I speak about are those things you kind of know are out there but never really thought about how they can change your life. Not only will your customers benefit but the folks they work with and their family lives will be touched too.
